Float Glass is a versatile glass predominantly used in single and double pane windows and doors ( toughened for doors ).
It is made by flowing, soft glass being poured onto a bed on molten tin. The glass floats, spreads and cools to form an even smooth surface of sheet, float glass.
Available in 4mm, 6mm, 8mm 10mm, 12mm, 15mm and 19mm thickness
Approximate Lead times on this product :
Non toughened ( no processing ) – up to 5 working days
Toughened ( no processing ) – up to 7-10 working days
Processed ( toughened and non toughened, polished edges, holes, radius corners etc) – up to 10-15 working days
Sandblasting – Please allow up to 3 weeks
